Spanish Prime Minister believes in recognizing the Palestinian state.

Madrid, April 10, 2024 (LANA) - Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, said in a speech before Spanish representatives, on Wednesday, that recognition of a Palestinian state is a geopolitical interest for Europe, stressing again that Madrid is ready to take this step.
Sanchez said, that the international community cannot help the Palestinian state unless it recognizes its existence, adding that such recognition falls within the framework of Europe's geopolitical interest, and Spain is ready to recognize a Palestinian state.
Sanchez said in statements he made to journalists who accompanied him last week during a tour in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, that Spain intends to do this by the end of June.
