Tripoli, April 2, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of Social Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Wafaa Al-Kilani, announced today, Tuesday, that the financial allocations for the wife and children’s grant from the Central Bank of Libya have been transferred to the ministry’s account.
It was stated on our government’s Facebook platform that the Ministry has referred the lists of beneficiaries of the wife and children’s grant for the first quarter of 2024 to the Department of Banking Operations at the Central Bank of Libya to transfer them to the accounts of those entitled to it.
Al-Kilani explained that the number of families benefiting from the grant for children under the age of 18 reached 1,172,933 families, and the beneficiaries of the “Efaa” grant amounted to 1,151,790 women.
