Tripoli, March 15, 2024 (LANA) - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy Agency, Abdul Salam Al-Ansari, discussed with the Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Libya, Seven Crosby, the opening of areas of joint cooperation between Libya and the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency within the national strategy for renewable energies.

During the meeting, which took place at the agency’s headquarters in Tripoli on Thursday, in the presence of the directors of departments and offices in the agency, it was agreed on the possibility of benefiting from advanced German expertise, especially in the field of solar and wind energy, and encouraging specialized German companies to contribute to the projects implemented by Libya in these fields.
