Yaounde, February 8, 2024 (LANA) - The work of the 59th meeting of the Executive Council of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI) began in the Cameroonian capital (Yaoundé) today, Thursday, headed by the President of the Libyan Audit Bureau and Chairman of the Executive Council of the organization, Khaled Shakshak.
The meeting's activities are based on discussing the preparations of the Libyan Audit Bureau to host the 16th General Assembly of the AFROSAI Organization, which will be hosted in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
The organization's technical committees, including the technical and institutional capacity building and organizational capacity building committees, held a series of preparatory meetings for the Executive Council meeting during the past two days.
