Tripoli, February 8, 2024 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Commission’s Council, “Imad Al-Sayeh,” met today, Thursday, with the French Ambassador to Libya, “Mustafa Maharaj,” and his accompanying delegation, who visited the Commission’s headquarters to see the level of the Commission’s readiness to implement the municipal council elections, which are scheduled to be implemented during the year 2024. .

During the meeting, Ambassador Maharaj expressed his government's appreciation for the Commission's efforts aimed at holding the elections in accordance with the highest standards applicable in the world, and reiterated its readiness to provide technical and advisory support, which enhances the Commission's readiness to implement the expected entitlements.
