Tripoli, September 1, 2022 (LANA) - Libya and Germany stressed the need to speed up the political process and preserve the outcomes of the Berlin Conference "1" and "2", leading to parliamentary and presidential elections in accordance with an agreed constitutional framework.
This came during a phone call made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, "Najla Al-Manqoush" with the Special Envoy of the German Foreign Ministry to Libya, "Christian Bock", which dealt with the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Facebook, the two sides stressed the need to reject any measures, whether local or international, that would destabilize peace and stability in Libya.
For her part, Al-Manqoush expressed her appreciation for the German role in support of stability in Libya, and the support of the international position in support of the elections as the only solution to the Libyan crisis.
