Tripoli, April 16, 2024 (LANA) - The meeting held today, Tuesday, in the Cabinet Office of the National Unity Government, discussed the follow-up of the opening of lanes in the Third Ring Road project, the route of the (Al-Sarraj - New Al-Sawani) road, and Trieg Al-Shaat in the municipality of Hay Al-Andalus.

  The “Our Government” platform stated that the meeting, which was attended by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, the directors of the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency, the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency, the Chairman of the Route Opening Committee, and a number of committee members, discussed the executive procedures to begin implementing the Siraj al-Suwani Road, and to complete the seventh phase of Trieg Al-Shaat in the municipality of Hay Al-Andalus, the executive work in opening lanes for basic projects, and the progress of work in compensation procedures for citizens who were not previously compensated.

The director of the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency explained that the removal and expansion work will begin next week by the lane opening committee, so that the project work can begin.

The Director General of the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency confirmed that the design and implementation work for the seventh phase of Trieg Al-Shaat in the municipality of Hay Al-Andalus has become ready with the opening of paths, designs and implementation.

For his part, the Chairman of the Tracks Opening Committee indicated that the work of opening tracks in the final phase of the Third Ring Road is going well and coordination is continuing with the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency in compensating citizens whose files were referred by the Tracks Opening Committee.
