Tripoli, April 04, 2024 (LANA) - The UN envoy to Libya, “Abdullah Batili,” visited the municipality of Tarhona today, Thursday, and was received by the mayor of the municipality, “Mohamed Al-Kashar,” members of the municipal council, and notables and elders of the municipality.

The media office of the Municipality of Tarhona stated that Batili's visit came to identify the most important needs and aspirations of the municipality regarding what is happening in the Libyan arena, to find solutions for it, and to bring it to safety.

  According to what was published by the municipal information office, Batili stressed the necessity of holding a constitutional referendum as soon as possible because it is the only solution for the country to get out of political problems.
