Tripoli, April 3, 2024 (LANA) - The meeting held by the Head of the National Unity Government and Minister of Defense, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, with the Assistant Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Salah Al-Namroush, was devoted to following up on the work of the group of operations to extend security and support the security and police services in the Ras Jadeer border region.

During the meeting, Al-Namroush presented to the Prime Minister a general position on the security situation in the border region, stressing that the situation in the region is stable, according to what was published by the Prime Minister’s Media Office.

Al-Namroush explained that coordination is underway with the Ministry of Interior regarding preparing the necessary arrangements for the opening of the crossing and the return of work to it, and with the Administrative Centers Development Authority regarding maintenance and implementation of a number of administrative buildings.
