Qaderbuh and the Italian Ambassador to Libya discuss cooperation in the areas of oversight and anti-corruption.

Tripoli, March 19, 2024 (LANA) - The meeting held between the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbuh, and the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, today, Tuesday, focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various fields and following up on the joint projects that Libya and Italy are working on.

During the meeting, efforts aimed at strengthening joint cooperation with the Italian Financial Guard and the Anti-Corruption Authority in Italy were reviewed, and it was agreed on the importance of opening new horizons of cooperation in various fields, with regard to the areas of oversight and anti-corruption.

Qaderbuh stressed that this meeting reflects the Administrative Control Authority’s commitment to international cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of oversight and anti-corruption, noting that this meeting is an opportunity to exchange experiences between the two countries in order to achieve common goals in this regard.

This meeting constitutes an important step towards strengthening the partnership between Libya and Italy, as joint efforts between the two countries will continue in the future to achieve their common interests and promote peace, stability and sustainable development in the region.
