Tripoli, March 17, 2024 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Council of the High National Electoral Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, discussed today, Sunday in Tripoli, with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, ways to support the electoral process in Libya, and the level of the Commission’s readiness to implement the upcoming elections.

During the meeting held at the Commission's headquarters, Longden expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Commission in preparation for the municipal council elections, reiterating his government's readiness to provide technical and advisory support to the Commission, which enhances its readiness and creates a suitable climate for the implementation of the anticipated entitlements.
