The Committee for Supporting the Palestinian Cause in the High Council of State discusses the Libyan campaign for Gaza City relief.

Tripoli, March 12, 2024 (LANA) - Yesterday, Monday, in its second regular meeting at the Council’s headquarters, the Committee for Supporting the Palestinian Cause in the High Council of State discussed the Libyan campaign for Gaza City relief, in the presence of members Dr. Abdel Qader Hawaili, Mustafa Al-Trabelsi, Suad Artemeh, and a number of members. Members of the campaign include Council members Dr. Omar Baara, Dr. Abdel Moneim Harisha, and Saad Al-Fitouri.

   The Information Office of the High Council of State stated that the meeting concluded with an agreement to prepare a correspondence for the Presidency of the Council to address the Central Bank, in order to initiate procedures related to covering transportation costs and disbursement of the amount allocated to the campaign.

  The Presidency of the Unity Government will also be addressed to request the allocation of an amount to support UNRWA. In addition, the Committee will prepare a correspondence from it to the Presidency of the Council regarding these issues.
