Tripoli, March 11, 2024 (LANA) - The American Embassy in Libya congratulated the Libyan people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

      The embassy said in a post on its official Facebook page today, Monday, “Ramadan Kareem from Special Envoy Ambassador Norland, Chargé d’Affairs Brent, and the entire team of the United States Embassy to Libya,” expressing its hopes that this month will be a month filled with the spirit of unity and understanding and the happy moments that characterize it. This is a special time of the year, according to them.

     Yesterday, Sunday, the Libyan Fatwa House announced that today, Monday, is the completion of the month of Shaban, and that tomorrow, Tuesday, is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1445 AH.
