Tripoli, March 4, 2024 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, discussed today, Monday in Tripoli, with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj, the political developments in Libya and files of concern to the two countries.
During the meeting, according to the media office of the President of the Council, the two parties discussed the political developments in Libya and the files that concern the two countries, and how to get out of the political impasse by creating consensuses between the active political parties in Libya, to move forward towards the parliamentary and presidential elections.
Al-Manfi stressed, according to the office, France’s important role in supporting and enhancing stability in the region, efforts for the human rights of peoples and humanitarian law, and ways of joint cooperation to achieve this.
