Representative of the Presidential Council (Moussa Al-Koni) returns to the homeland after a treatment trip.

Tripoli, April 9, 2022 (LANA) - The Representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, arrived this afternoon, Saturday, at Maitiga International Airport, after a treatment trip that lasted for more than a month, and was accompanied on the return trip by the Representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi.

 On his arrival at Maitiga International Airport, Al-Koni was greeted by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Ramadan Abu Janah," a number of ministers and government agents, a number of members of Parliament, the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Haddad, and a number of ambassadors of the countries accredited to Libya, the head of the presidential council’s office, Nasser Jibril, and the directors of departments and offices in the presidential council.

 Al-Koni expressed his happiness for the good reception and welcome he received, thanking God for his safety, and for responding to prayers for his recovery, stressing that he is happy to return to the homeland, which is comparable to the entire universe.

 In a speech during the reception, Representative Abdullah Al-Lafi expressed his thanks to the delegates, ministers and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, wishing more health and a full recovery for the representative and for him to return to his duties soon.

Hours before his return to the homeland, Al-Koni had expressed, “in a tweet on his personal page on Twitter, the pain of the disease and the separation of the homeland, and his love and longing for Libya, considering that his country, Libya, is the cure.”

 Al-Koni said in his tweet (Above every pain that swept the chest, the distance from the homeland was an absolute pain, I was praying to God that I would be able to kiss its soil again even for once, that by meeting him I would be freed from every pain, and that Libya is a cure).

 In the tweet, Al-Koni thanked everyone who supported him and stood by him during his illness, even if he prayed, as well as the medical team that surrounded him with medical care throughout his treatment in Spain. They surrounded me with care and surgery in Spain, and they saved my life.)
