Al-Lafi discusses with Batili the developments of the political crisis in Libya.

Tripoli, March 17, 2024 (LANA) - Representative of the Presidential Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi,” discussed today, Sunday in Tripoli, with the UN envoy, “Abdullah Batili,” the developments of the political crisis in Libya.
The Presidential Council’s Information and Communication Office stated that the meeting discussed the current political impasse, what has been accomplished in the national reconciliation file, and efforts to convene an inclusive national conference, with the participation of all parties in the political process.
He added that "Al-Lafi" stressed during the meeting the Presidential Council's support for the initiatives of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya towards advancing the political path towards achieving stability and electoral benefits that the Libyans aspire to.
For his part, the UN envoy reiterated during the meeting the UN mission’s support for the efforts of the MP and the Presidential Council to make the national reconciliation project a success.
