Tripoli, February 11, 2023 (LANA) - The Minister of Economy and Trade of the Government of National Unity, "Mohammed Al-Hawij," participated in the meeting of the Arab Economic and Social Council, which was held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States.

  In the meeting, the Arab ministers discussed ways to activate the Greater Arab Free Trade Area and a number of economic and social files in the region that contribute to enhancing trade exchange and facilitating the flow of goods and services through all common ports.

    On the sidelines of the conference, the Minister of Economy discussed with his counterpart the Palestinian Minister the economy prospects for cooperation in the field of investment and trade exchange.

He also met with the Tunisian Minister of Trade, stressing the necessity of convening technical and economic committees to follow up on what was agreed upon between the two countries during the next month.
