Tripoli, May 6, 2024 (LANA) - The United States renewed its support for Libyan efforts to unify military institutions, professionalize them, and achieve lasting peace and stability.
This came during the participation of a delegation of military officials from all over the country last week in the African Land Forces Summit in Zambia, according to a tweet from the US Embassy in Libya.
The embassy added in its tweet published today, Monday, through its account on the “X” platform, that this summit, which was sponsored by the US Army Chief of Staff and hosted by the Southern European Task Force of the US Army in Africa, and the Zambian Army, participated in 750 representatives from all over Africa and other partner countries.
