Presidency Council links its decree on foreign currency sale with fees with enforcement of Central Bank decision amending the rate of exchange.

Tripoli, 3 January 2021 (Lana) The Presidency Council has decided to suspended for three renewable months, its previous decree on foreign currency sale with fees, as well as other related decrees. The Guardian: Cost of Conflict in Libya Reached $578 Billion.

London, 3 January 2021(Lana) The Guardian newspaper reported that the UN intended to send observers to Libya to oversee the cease-fire in the country. This is the first time that the international organization takes active steps on the ground to enforce a ceasefire.
