Euro-African Summit on Libya on Monday.

Paris, 27 August 2017(Lana) French Presidency Office has announced that Paris was hosting a Euro-African summit on the Libyan crisis, to be chaired by the French President Emanuel Macron, and to be attended by the President of the Presidency Council Fayez Al Serraj. The Office said the summit would be attended by the President of Chad and Niger, the EU High Representative of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, as well as the Heads of Governments of Spain and Italy and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel. President of Presidency Council of Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj arrived in Khartoum on Sunday for a 2 day visit to Sudan, on which he was accompanied by the GNA Ministers of Foreign Mohamed Siala and Education Othman Abdul Jalil.

Sudanese News Agency said the visit was in reply to an invitation from the President of Sudan Field Marshal Omar Al Bashir. 'Libya and SUDAN share strong and deep rooted relations due to neighborliness, history and blood, Sudan's Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour said.
