British Ambassador Welcomes UN Special Envoy Visit to Libya.

Tripoli, 6 August 2017(Lana) British Ambassador Peter Millett has welcomed the visit by the UN Special Envoy Ghassan Salama to Libya Peter Milett which he described as a step in the right direction. Liaison with people across the country is a step forward, Millett tweeted, expressing his support for the UN mission effort to restore stability to Libya. Libyan Navy Rescues 139 Illegal Migrants North of Sayyad.

Tripoli, 6 August 2017(Lana) Libyan coast guard at the Tripoli Marine base point have rescued 139 illegal migrants off the coast of Sayyad. The migrants all of African nationalities included 5 women and 3 children and the rescue operation took place took place 20 miles north of Sayyad west of Tripoli, a Coast Guard Spokesman Ayub Gassem said.
