This has a negative impact on people's health and wellbeing, and if prolonged would lead to serious humanitarian conditions. Central Bank Gives 'Green Light' for Importing 570,000 Sacrifice Sheep.

Tripoli, 6 August 2017(Lana) The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya Al Sadiq Al Kabir has confirmed that the bank has issued its final approval for 54 companies to import 570,000 sheep for sacrifice for the upcoming 'Eid Al Udha' with a total value of LD 100 million. Al Kabir said the approval was granted on the condition that sheep arrive at Libyan ports by August 20.
