CBL Discuss Opening Letters of Credit for Basic Goods.

Tripoli, 6 April 2016(Lana) The Central Bank of Libya has discussed at an extended meeting acceleration of opening letters of credit for basic goods imports. The meeting which was held at the CBL headquarters dealt with the difficulties facing importers of basic commodities, and the proposals put forward by the Bank to overcome these difficulties. The importers welcomed the measures introduced by the CBL which call for letters of credit to be opened through the bank network, and the allocation of 3,150 billion for goods imports, saying the amount meets the needs of the Libyan... GNC amends constitutional declaration and hands over power to State Supreme Council.

Tripoli, 05.04.2016(Lana) The GNC introduced in its last session Tuesday in Tripoli an amendment to the Constitutional Declaration to be compatible with the Political Accord and according to the legally approved procedures and in accordance with annex 4 of the agreement. Tripoli, 05.04.2016(Lana) Several Arab and Western countries announced their desire to reopen their embassies and consulates and resume work of their diplomatic missions from Tripoli, following the arrival of the National Accord Government to Tripoli and assume their work officially.
