Al-Thulti: Presidency Council convenes meetings on resignation of Vice-President Musa Koni.

Tripoli, 03.01.2017(Lana) Presidency Council spokesman, Asdhraf Al-Thelti has announced that the presidency council is convening meetings on the resignation of vice-president Musa Koni, and is making efforts to convince him to reverse his decision. International Red Crescent delivers medical supplies to Serte Health Centres.

Serte, 03.01.2017(Lana) Medical supplies were delivered Tuesday to several health centres in Serte by the International Red Crescent in collaboration with the health sector, Serte Crisis Committee, and Red Crescent Society Misrata branch. Director of Serte Health services, Dr Khalifa Mohamed told Lana that the aid included medical supplies for emergency and surgery departments. Libya oil production up to 685,000 barrels.

Tripoli, 02.01.2017(Lana) National Oil Corporation has announced that Libya oil production was up Sunday to 685,000 bpd. The NOC attributed the increase to restoring oil production of main pipelines pumping oil out of Sharara and the Elephant oil fields in the west part of the country. The oil production from the Sharara oil field which has a production capacity of 330,000 bpd will resume gradually but no announcement was made about resuming oil production from the Elephant oil field which produces 90,000 bpd of crude oil, it explained.
