Tripoli, 02.01.2017(Lana) National Oil Corporation has announced that Libya oil production was up Sunday to 685,000 bpd. The NOC attributed the increase to restoring oil production of main pipelines pumping oil out of Sharara and the Elephant oil fields in the west part of the country. The oil production from the Sharara oil field which has a production capacity of 330,000 bpd will resume gradually but no announcement was made about resuming oil production from the Elephant oil field which produces 90,000 bpd of crude oil, it explained. Tripoli, 02.01.2017(Lana) GNA Foreign Ministry has announced that one Libyan was killed and three others injured in the armed attack in Istanbul attack. The Media Office told Lana that instructions were issued to the L:ibyan Consulate in Istanbul by Foreign Minister, Mohamed Saila to take all necessary measures regarding the issue. Serte, 02.01.2017(Lana) Serte Crisis Committee dispatched a humanitarian aid to Jaref, Zafran and Dhuhair in Serte, offered by UNICEF and the International Red Cross in collaboration with the Libyan Red Crescent Society in Misrata. The aid includes food packages and detergents and household items and were distributed to families in the said areas. Head of the Crisis Committee told Lana reporter in Serte that two-hundred families in Jaref and 400 families in Zafran benefited from the aid.
