Libyan Navy Rescues 86 Illegal Migrants North of Abu Kamash.

Tripoli, 28 January 2018(Lana) The Libyan Navy have rescued 86 illegal migrants including 15 women, who were found on dinghy north of the town Abu Kamash on the western Libyan coast. According to the Coast Guard Spokesman Ayub Qassem, the migrants belong to 13 Arab ands African nationalities. Tripoli, 25 January 2018(Lana) The Minister of State for Displaced Affairs Yusuf Jlala has met the Counsel of Norwegian Council for Refugees Maurine Filipio. According to the Information and Liaison Department Filipio expressed her desire to offer assistance to the displaced inside Libya and also for the returnees as well as initiating an office for refugees in Tripoli. On his part Jlala stressed the need for coordination between the Norwegian Council and the Education Ministry to discuss response plan for the internally displaced and assess the need of the sector. ...
