Janzur organizes a festival marking 17th February revolution.

Janzur, 03.02.2016(Lana) Janzour city is making preparations to organize a festivity marking the 17 th February revolution. The theme of the festivity is " Spring & Peace" and to be organized 16, 17 , and 18 February at Liberty Square before the Municipal Council of Janzur. Libya elected vice-chairman of UNICEF Executive Council.

Tripoli, 03.02.2016(Lana) Libya was elected vice-chairman of UNICEF Executive Council. In a press statement, Ambassador Dabashi Libya's representative to the UN, said he was elected deputy chairman of UNICEF Executive Council, explaining that he would assume this post until end of 2016. The UNICEF Executive Council comprises 36 countries, and it is responsible for activities concerning children, approval of the agency's activities and country programmes and budgets. France announces that it may intervene in Libya.

Fires at Oil Field 103 Extinguished.

Tripoli, 3 February 2106(Lana) The Fires that broke out at the oil field 103 known as Al Entisar field which triggered by an explosion in the pipeline linking the field to Al Zweitina terminal on Sunday night have been put out, a spokesman for the National Oil Company said. Rome, 3 February 2016(Lana) The European Union has reiterated a call for a formation of a national consensus government in Libya, to curb the activity of so called Islamic State or Da'esh in the country.
