Moscow - April 12, 2024 (LANA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed yesterday, Thursday, that his country had never refused to reach a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine, but rather was inclined to do so specifically.

The Russian "Sputnik" news agency quoted "Putin" during his talks with his Belarusian counterpart, "Alexander Lukashenko", while commenting on the situation in the Ukrainian arena, saying that Russia had never abandoned the peaceful resolution of conflicts, but rather was inclined to do so... stressing that Moscow was opposed to imposing plans for a Ukrainian settlement that have no relation to reality.

President Putin described the Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities as demilitarized and having a direct impact on the military-industrial complex in Ukraine.

President Putin stressed that the West's statements regarding Russia's aggressive policy are complete nonsense, and that they are doing so to justify their expenditures on the conflict in Ukraine.
