Arab Group at the UN, demands the implementation of international resolutions on Gaza.

Benghazi, November 23, 2023 (LANA) - Arab Group at the United Nations, headed by Libya, held extensive meetings during the past two days to present comprehensive proposals that guarantee the implementation of international resolutions regarding the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

  Libya’s representative to the United Nations, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, said in a tweet posted on X platform: “Within the framework of Libya’s presidency of the Arab Group, and support for joint Arab action regarding the current events in Gaza and the West Bank, we held a series of meetings with various regional groups, the European Union, the African Union, the Southeast Asian Community (ASEAN), and the Latin American and Caribbean Community.

  Al-Sunni added, “During these meetings, briefings were given on the current situation, views were exchanged, and proposals were put forward through which we could work to implement the recently adopted General Assembly and Security Council resolutions, in order to work on a ceasefire, bring in humanitarian aid, and prevent the forced displacement of civilians.”
