British Foreign Minister: Technical Support Should be Extended to CBL for Good Management of Crisis.

London, 21 April 2016(Lana) The British Foreign Minister Philip
Hammond briefing the House of Commons on his visit to Libya in a
special session said 'he has proposed to the Head of the Presidential
Council Fayez Al Saraj British technical support to the Central Bank
of Libya, the National Oil Company and the Libyan Investment Company.
The support is in recognition by international partners for the
flexibility and professionalism shown by the Libyan personalities who
continued running these institutions through during the turmoil of
the last three years, which reflected their technical capabilities
and good motivation, they have done a distinguished job, Hammond
said.
Hammond's statements came in reply to a question on the role that
should be taken by the British Government in assisting Libya to have
a sound economy and an effective central bank.
