Orlando affirms the EU's support for CBL Governor's reform program.

Tripoli, December 21, 2025 (LANA) – The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Issa, met today, Sunday, with the European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, to discuss efforts to achieve economic stability in Libya and support reforms aimed at expanding trade and investment between Europe and Libya, according to a tweet by the latter.
Orlando stated in his tweet: “I commended the Central Bank of Libya’s commitment to financial sustainability and inclusive development throughout the country, and I affirmed the European Union’s unwavering support for the Governor’s reform program through targeted technical assistance and capacity-building initiatives.”
