Siala Confirms International Community Support for Libya at Istanbul, Kuwait and Romania Meetings.

Tripoli, 19 February 2018(Lana) The GNA Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala said he has attended three key meetings in which participants had shown showed massive support for the Government of National Accord and the ongoing political process in Libya. The first meeting, Siala recalls was in Istanbul where I was there as the Libyan Foreign Minister, but also as a representative of the Arab Maghreb Union, given that Libya is the current chairman of the union, at that meeting there was great support for Libya and the political process. I also attended a meeting for the International Alliance against ISIS in Kuwait, during which Libya was praised for its effort in defeating ISIS in Sirte, Benghazi and Sabrata, Siala said, adding that participants from all over the world have expressed support for Libya, and recognition that the defeat of Da'esh was made possible by Libya's resolve and sacrifice. Siala indicated that he has also visited Romania in reply to an invitation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean as a key speaker. He stressed that the Libyan case received major support from the assembly, which called for all obstacles to be removed from the way to establishing law and institutions in Libya. =Lana=
