Delegate Minister of Transport Discusses With Commander of Presidency Guard Securing Land and Sea Ports.

Tripoli, 7 January 2017(Lana) The Delegate Minister of Transport in the Government of National Accord Milad Ma'atoug has discussed with the Commander of the Presidency Guard Nejmi Al Nakou plans for securing state institutions including land and Sea ports. The two sides agreed to continue consultations to reach their objectives. Libya Needs $10 Million to Finance Humanitarian Response Plans.

Cairo, 7 January 2017(Lana) The Humanitarian Response Plans for the Middle East and North Africa has received $4 billion this far out of the 7 billion it requested for 2016. The UN Human Affairs Middle East Coordination Bureau said in a statement Thursday Syria was the biggest beneficiary with 1.4 billion, followed by Yemen, Iraq, and the Palestinian territories. Italian Oil Group Eni Digs Off-shore Exploratory Well North West Tripoli.

Tripoli, 7 January 2017(Lana) The Italian Eni Group has announced that it had dug an exploratory well in the off-shore area DMN41, as part of the 2008 Exploration and Production partnership agreement with the National Oil Company. According to the NOC official website, the exploratory well is located 140km north west of Tripoli, 55 km north of the gas field Bahr Al Shamal, and the targeted Al Metlawi reservoir, and the projected digging period is 46 days. =...
