Culture board takes part in Cairo International Book Fair.

Tripoli, 29.01.2017(Lana) The libyan Culture Board took part in 48 th round of Cairo International Book Fair kicked off Thursday with the participation 35 Arab and foreign countries. Communications and Media at the cabinet explained that head of the board, Hussein Wanis visited several stands at the fair including Moroccon, Egyptian, Tunisian, Algerian, and Palestinian stands besides Iraqi, Italian, Greek and French stands. Tunis, 29 January 2017(Lana) Tunisia has renewed its support for the Government of National Accord and the Libyan people and strong rejection of foreign intervention in Libya. Libyan navy rescues 700 illegal immigrants north of Sabratha.

Sabratha, 29.01.2017(Lana) Libyan Navy patrol working from Zawia refinery post, managed to rescue 700 illegal immigrants on board two boats three miles from Sabratha. Libyan Navy spokesman, Col Ayub Qassem told Lana that immigrants including several Libyans belong to Arab and African nationalities from Syria, Palestine, and Tunisia. He pointed out the navy patrol came under fire by smugglers in an attempt to foil the rescue operation but their attempt failed and the immigrants were rescued.
