Electricity Company Signs Agreement With Turkish Enka to Complete Obari Gas Station.

Tripoli, 30 January 2017(Lana) The General Electricity Company has announced that it had signed an agreement with the Turkish Enka Co., by virtue of which the company would evaluate the Obari gas station project in a bid to complete it. A statement released by the company said the agreement came after a meeting held in Tripoli, attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, the Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Electricity Company as well as the CEO of Enka and mayors of Obari and Murzuk. Washington, 30 January 2017(Lana) US State Department has renewed a warning to its nationals against travelling to Libya, and called on those in the country to leave immediately.
