Libyan Navy Rescues 290 Illegal Migrants North of Garabouli.

Tripoli, 10 December 2017(Lana) Libyan coast guard patrols have rescued 290 illegal migrants, off the coast of Garabouli, east of Tripoli. The migrants of African and Arab nationalities included 23 women and 28 children and, according to the Coast Guard Spokesman Ayub Qassem, were found on dinghies north of the town of Garabouli. Cairo, 10 December 2017(Lana) Arab Foreign Ministers have demanded that the United States reconsider its decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of so called Israel, and to join the international call for a return of Palestinian land occupied in the 1967 war. Administrative Control Authority Says Holders of Dual Nationality be Banned From Holding Public Office.

Tripoli, 7 December 2017(Lana) The Administrative Control Authority has urged ministries and all public institutions not to allow dual nationality holder to take-up public office. In a circulation, a copy of which was received by the Libyan news agency, the Authority said those holding dual nationality are effectively stripped of their Libyan nationality by virtue of Law No.(24) of 2010. General Electricity Company Urges Consumers to Rationalize Power Consumption.

Tripoli, 7 December 2017(Lana) The General Electricity Company has said that the Company's is generating 5550 megawatts , while consumption was projected to reach 5850 megawatts, with a shortfall of 300 megawatts. The Company urged, in a statement on its website, customers to rationalize consumption of power to lessen load shedding hours by following guidelines of use of power.
