General Electricity Company Urges Consumers to Rationalize Power Consumption.

Tripoli, 7 December 2017(Lana) The General Electricity Company has said that the Company's is generating 5550 megawatts , while consumption was projected to reach 5850 megawatts, with a shortfall of 300 megawatts. The Company urged, in a statement on its website, customers to rationalize consumption of power to lessen load shedding hours by following guidelines of use of power. HCS holds broad meeting.

Tripoli, 6 December, 2017 (Lana)The High Council of State held a broad consultative meeting at its headquarters in Tripoli, during which the political developments, the political accord and negotiations on its amendments were reviewed. Tripoli, 6 December 2017 (Lana) High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has announced to commence registration of electorates as of Wednesday 6, 2017. The announcement was made by Dr Emad Al saiah, President of the Commission today in the presence of the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salama, his deputy, and members of the commission board and member of the Constitutive Assembly, media reporters and civil society organizations.
