Libya Meets Needs of cereals by Imports.

Tripoli, 24 April 2018(Lana) Libya has to meet its needs of cereals for 2018 through imports, said Abdul Monem Shihab Addin the Head of Steering C committee of the Ministry of Agriculture. Half of cereals needs could be met locally if security and electricity supply improved, Shihab Addin said, adding this requires investing no less than $120 million, of which 10 million will go to seeds alone. Paris, 24 April 2018 (Lana) Libya's Representative to UNESCO, Dr Abdelqader Al Saeh has confirmed that recovery of smuggled Libyan archaeology is continuing in coordination between Libyan and Spanish authorities. In an exclusive statement to Lana Tuesday, he said after follow up of a person selling smuggled Libyan archaeological articles and storming his place by the Spanish authorities, apparently the items are enormous and mostly smuggled from Cyrene. Sabratha Coast Guard rescues 74 illegal migrants.
