Local Government Minister issues resolution to transfer competencies to local administration units.

Tripoli, 18 September 2019 (Lana) GNA Local Government Minister, Dr Milad Attaher issued a resolution to transfer competencies to local government units. Resolution No 159/2019 provides for devolving ministry of transport relevant competencies to local government units to enable them carry out such tasks in their relevant proximities. European Commission Denies Knowledge of Reports of 'Violations' by Libya Coast Guard Elements.

Brussels, 17 September 2019(Lana) The European Commission denied yesterday that it knew of any international reports of violations by Libyan Coast Guard elements, trained by Europeans, against migrants rescued in the Mediterranean.
