Libya's Wheat Reserves to Run out in 2 to 3 Months, Says Government Official.

Tripoli, 12 February 2015(Lana) The Libyan wheat reserves are expected to run out within two to three months, unless the Price Stabilization Fund receives money held up because of the dwindling oil prices, the Chairman of the fund said . In press statements, Jamal Al Sheibani said wheat imports have been blocked by the shelling of Misrata Seaport which discouraged shipping companies to deal with Libya. Lack of Visas Prevents Libyan Basket Ball Taking Part in African Championship in Morocco.

Tripoli, 12 February 2015(Lana) The Libyan basket ball squad will not take part in the 2nd leg of the African basket ball Championship for area No 1, which due to kick off in Morocco next week, because of the lack of visas. Audit Office Denies Taking Measures to Stop salaries.

Tripoli, 12 February 2015(Lana) The Audit office has denied that it has issued any orders to stop dispensing salaries of public servants, and stressed that it had taken some precautionary measures to reorganize bank accounts. It said it took some measures on accounts of organisations that are funded from the state treasury, which will have a positive impact on both the general public and the state. Tripoli, 12 February 2105(Lana) The British Ambassador to Libya has said that the reopening of the embassy in Tripoli is conditioned on the success of the dialogue talks between Libyan parties to end the crisis in the country.
