The Arab Parliament concludes its fourth plenary session in Cairo.
Pulbished on:Cairo, May 25, 2024 (LANA) - The Arab Parliament held its fourth plenary session today, Saturday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The session discussed developments in the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, which are deteriorating day after day as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which comes in light of the special interest that the Arab Parliament gives to the Palestinian issue, as it is the central issue.
According to the Arab Parliament, the session touched on the Bahrain Declaration issued by the Arab Summit in its 33rd session, which was hosted by Manama, valuing the outcomes of this summit, which are a guarantee for the security and stability of the region in light of the unity of word, class, and destiny, and the unity of the Arab position that is firm and supportive of the issues of the Arab region, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue.
The fourth plenary session concluded its work, after discussing and adopting the reports submitted by its four permanent committees: the Foreign, Political and National Security Affairs Committee, the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee, the Legislative, Legal and Human Rights Affairs Committee, and the Social, Educational, Cultural, Women and Youth Affairs Committee.
