World Bank Estimates Cost of Reconstruction in Libya at $ 200 Billion.
Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 7 February 2016(Lana) The World Bank has estimated the
cost of reconstruction in Libya at $ 200 Billion in the next 10
years.
In a report entitled 'the Middle East and North Africa Quarter
Economic Summary', the Bank said economic growth was below expected
due to pressure as a result of wars and terrorism, and decline in oil
prices, and the medium term prospects were likely to be pessimistic.
The report published on Saturday said restoration of security and
stability in the Middle East region and North Africa, would encourage
investment and lead to increase in oil production in Libya, Iraq and
Syria.
