Al-Bayda, 25 December, 2022 (Lana) - The Public Prosecution has continued its efforts to combat trafficking in cultural property and to respond to infringement on real estate antiquities.
The Attorney general’s Office stated that the Public Prosecutor within the scope of Al-Bayda Court of Appeal circuit - under the supervision of the Attorney General - assumed the responsibility of verifying the legality of the possession of two persons of valuable pieces of art that fulfill the criteria of the term movable antiquity.
The investigator concluded that the movable antiquities were considered as illegal dealing under the motive of illegal trade.
