Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Tuesday announced the resumption
of transfers of refugees and asylum seekers out of Libya.
The resumption of the transfer of refugees, which has been suspended
for seven months due to the Coronavirus pandemic, means the return of
hope for lasting solutions for the most vulnerable groups, UNCHR said
in a statement on its official Facebook account.
The UNHCR said 153 refugees and asylum seekers had been transferred
to Niger.
