First Reconciliation Conference in Libya continues.

for Reconciliation in Libya themed 'Security, Peace , Reconciliation'
supervised by The High Reconciliation Council in Greater Tripoli
Civil Society Organizations and sponsored by The General Body for
Communications and Informatics continued for the second day running
in Tripoli.
The discussions focused on the main themes including Libyan
economy losses in the absence of reconciliation, learning about
local and international experiences in reconciliation besides
putting in place the various mechanisms to realize reconciliation and
transitional justice.
The two-day conference is aimed at intensifying and unifying
efforts among specialized academics, expertise of people of
reconciliation to get Libya out of its crisis and open a new chapter
for construction and development.
The conference is aimed at identifying difficulties encountering
reconciliation in Libya, and learn internal and external experiences,
besides proposing solutions and appropriate steps for reconciliation.
Presenters stressed in their papers the need to find the proposed
solutions for reconciliation in Libya and enhance local initiatives
and its role in reconciliation and alleviate the issues that
undermine them.
Besides the High Reconciliation Council of Greater Tripoli,
Minister of Interior, State Minister for Displaced, Director of
Tripoli Security, and Reconciliation Committee of the House of
Representatives and High State Council, head and members of
Reconciliation Committee, mayors and dean of universities and
academics.
The conference is discussing culture of tolerance, general
amnesty among Libyans and impact of reconciliation in state progress
and role of tribe dignitaries and national reconciliation track in
Libya and building social peace.
