Nato Set to Launch New Military Post to Monitor What Happens in Libya and African Sahel Region.

Brussels, 4 September 2017(Lana) Nato is gearing up to launch a
military monitoring centre at the Alliance's Napoli headquarters on
Tuesday, to strengthen monitoring of what happens in Libya.
The mission of the new centre called 'South Hub' is designed to
monitor Libya and the African Sahel countries as well as air and Sea
routes in the region, according to Nato sources in Brussels.
Diplomats see return of Isis or 'Da'esh' to Sirte, Libya as a
justification for establishment of this centre, which will be
entirely devoted to monitor what is going on in Libya and the Sahel
countries.
According to officials the centre will be assigned with the task
of monitoring so called risks of destabilization, terrorism and
migration, and will work to coordinate movement of Nato members in
North Africa and southern regions, share of information and data
analysis.
