UNSMIL Deplores Death of Children in Benghazi Explosion.

Rome, 4 May 2016(Lana) The UN Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Libya Ali Al Za'atri has deeply regretted the death of 3 children and the wounding of another in an explosion in Benghazi on Monday. Kobler Plans Visit to Russia to Rally Support for Libyan Political Process.

Tripoli, 4 May 2016(Lana) The UN Special Envoy to Libya Martin Kobler is planning to visit Moscow in the coming days to muster support for the political process in Libya. Libyan Centre for Press Freedom releases press freedom in Libya.

Tripoli, 03.05.2016(Lana) The Libyan Centre for Press Freedom said press freedom in Libya was negatively affected due to instability and conflicts in the country. In its annual report, on World Press Day, 3 March annually, it said it reported about 118 attacks against journalists and media outlets, 18% of which classified as threats of murder, 19% kidnappings and torture, 21% repressive and forced disappearance, 13% cases of beating and prevention of work and 22% attacks on the media outlets. Libya -Malaysia Company for roads begins inspection of Ghryan-Jadu road.
