Customs Authority welcomes GNA decision for advance levying of customs tariffs.

Tripoli, 03.07.2016(Lana) The Customs Authority has welcomed the Government of National Accord (GNA) decision providing for an advance levying of customs' tariffs. It considered the decision as will contribute to smooth flow of goods through the various entry posts of the country. The authority praised the decision which it said reflected the understanding of the GNA of the need to stabilize Libyan market in terms of flow and affordability of goods. Breqa company denies shortage of cooking gas.

Tripoli, 01.07.2016 - Lana - The Breqa company for oil marketing , denied the circulating rumors about cooking gas shortages. Spokesman for the company "Fathi Hashmi" , said in a press statement that depots of filling cooking gas cylinders are operating at full power , and the daily production is about 30 thousand cylinders. CBL Says LD 1 Billion British-printed Currency Has Been Delivered.

Tripoli, 30 June 2016(Lana) The Central Bank of Libya has announced that a total of LD 1 billion of Libyan currency which has been printed in England has been delivered to the bank. The bank confirmed receiving another shipment of currency coming from Britain estimated at 320 million dinars.
