US Embassy Suspends Issuance of Visas to Libyan Nationals.

Tripoli, 31 January 2017(Lana) The United States Embassy in Libya has announced that it had suspended granting visas to Libyan nationals in response to the decision signed on Jan.27 regarding banning citizens of 7 countries from entry to the United States. The decision is effective immediately until further notice, the Embassy said in a statement on Monday. It urged Libyan nationals not to seek an appointment for visa application and not to pay any fees at the time being. Electricity Company Signs Agreement With Turkish Enka to Complete Obari Gas Station.

Tripoli, 30 January 2017(Lana) The General Electricity Company has announced that it had signed an agreement with the Turkish Enka Co., by virtue of which the company would evaluate the Obari gas station project in a bid to complete it.
