Al Khoms, 11 January 2017(Lana) Libyan coast guard have rescued a total of 279 illegal migrants off the coasts of Al Khoms and Al Zawiya after the boats they were traveling on broke down, a spokesman for the Libyan Navy said. The migrants who included women and children were rescued by the Libya navy boat Sabrata, the Navy Spokesman Ayub Gasem said, indicating that some were missing.
